Teams

Recruited from the Gippsland Power with pick 61 in the 2008 National Draft, Campbell Heath was a courageous medium defender whose time at the elite level was defined by relentless injury setbacks. While he possessed a solid left boot and the ability to read the play across half-back, Heath endured two knee reconstructions early in his stint with Sydney, limiting him to just two senior appearances in four years. Unable to crack the Swans' premiership-winning backline in 2012 despite strong reserves form, he was traded to Port Adelaide in search of a lifeline, reuniting with childhood friend John Butcher. He finally found continuity in 2013, playing 12 games as a rebounding defender for the Power, but his career was cruelly cut short the following season when he suffered a third ACL rupture in the SANFL, forcing his eventual delisting.
