Teams

Recruited from Kensington, Charlie Healy became a foundational player for North Melbourne as part of the "Original Shinboners" squad that entered the VFL in 1925. Although he missed the historic opening round, he broke into the senior side in Round 5 of that debut season and quickly proved himself indispensable. A versatile utility capable of playing as a rover or across half-back, Healy was characterised by his clever ball use and ability to link up play through the midfield. He remained a consistent figure throughout the club's challenging early years in the league, providing stability and experience for six seasons before retiring in 1930.
