Bio
Recruited from Albury on the New South Wales border, Charlie Kolb was a diminutive rover who managed a brief stint with the Tigers during the 1932 season. Standing just 168cm, he struggled to secure a permanent spot in a strong Richmond lineup that would go on to reach the Grand Final that year, making only three senior appearances and kicking a solitary goal. Following his departure from Punt Road, Kolb returned to the border region where he enjoyed immediate success as the captain-coach of Albury Rovers. He led the club to the 1933 premiership in the Albury & District Football League and cemented his local legacy by winning the Stavley Medal as the competition's best and fairest player.
