Bio
Charlie Nash is a versatile tall prospect who progressed through the Sharks Junior Football Club before joining the Eastern Ranges in the Coates Talent League. After featuring as a bottom-age forward in the Ranges' 2025 premiership side, Nash transitioned into a key defender role in 2026. His consistent form earned him a spot in the Vic Metro squad that claimed the National Championships title. Nash was subsequently invited to the Victorian state draft combine, where his impressive athleticism was highlighted by a top-three finish in the standing vertical jump.
Standing at 193cm, Nash boasts terrific athletic traits and plays with the mobility of a medium utility. In defence, he is comfortable matching up on dangerous talls, playing off the back shoulder and using his strong aerial prowess to impact contests. Scouts have noted his clean hands, physical tackling and composure when rebounding the ball out of the back half. Although he settled in the backline during his draft year, his ability to push up the ground and connect play remains a clear strength. As a state combine invitee, Nash shapes as an intriguing option for clubs looking to bolster their key position depth late in the draft.
