Teams

Recruited from Perth in the WAFL, Charlie Pagnoccolo was a goal-kicking rover who made an immediate impact upon arriving at Footscray in 1970. Known for his ability to drift forward and hit the scoreboard, he maintained an average of better than a goal a game during his four seasons at the Western Oval, offering a dangerous crumbing option at the feet of the tall timber. He crossed to Melbourne for the 1974 season, where he played a further 11 games and booted 14 goals, but his stint with the Demons proved brief. Pagnoccolo eventually returned to Western Australia to conclude his senior career in the WAFL with South Fremantle.
