Bio
Recruited from the distinctively named Prestige Hosiery Football Club, Charlie Sevior was a diminutive rover originally hailing from the Mallee town of Ouyen. He followed in the footsteps of his uncle, Tom Sevior, to represent Essendon, breaking into the senior side midway through the 1930 season. A textile worker by trade, Sevior managed five appearances and booted two goals but found himself squeezed out of the rotation, largely resigned to the reserves. He eventually departed the league to ply his trade with Brunswick in the VFA and later Fairfield, subsequently serving in the Second AIF during World War II.
