Bio
Recruited from the Northern Eagles via the 2005 Rookie Draft, Cheynee Stiller was a local Queensland product who carved out a respectable career through sheer work ethic and discipline. After being elevated to the senior list, he made an immediate impact, earning a Rising Star nomination in his debut 2006 season. Stiller established himself primarily as a run-with midfielder, often tasked with nullifying opposition playmakers through elite endurance and defensive accountability rather than offensive flair.
Stiller remained a frequent contributor during the Lions' transitional years following their golden era, valued by the coaching staff for his ability to execute a specific tagging role. His career culminated in 2012 when he reached the 100-game milestone in a match against the Gold Coast Suns; however, this proved to be his final appearance at AFL level. He was delisted at the conclusion of that season, departing the club as a prime example of a rookie list player who successfully maximised his potential to become a club centurion.
