Bio
Recruited from Caulfield Grammarians, Chris Wittman established himself as a lively rover and small forward during Hawthorn's golden era in the late 1980s. Operating effectively at the feet of dominant key forwards like Jason Dunstall and Dermott Brereton, he became a valuable contributor to the Hawks' attack, culminating in premiership medallions in both 1988 and 1989. While a consistent performer during the club's peak, opportunities became scarce as the list evolved in the early 1990s, prompting a move to St Kilda for the 1993 season. His stint at Moorabbin was brief, yielding just three senior appearances before he retired from the top level with just shy of 100 games.
