Bio
Recruited from Redfern, Clarrie Dall was a diminutive forward who made the most of his brief time at VFL level with Fitzroy. Standing at just 168cm, Dall was a dangerous option near goal, using his low centre of gravity and crumbing ability to average exactly a goal a game across his short career. He made an immediate impact upon his debut in 1911, playing nine games and booting nine goals, showing promise as a rotating rover who could hit the scoreboard. However, opportunities dried up the following season as Fitzroy surged toward the finals, and Dall managed just a single appearance in 1912 before his time in the league concluded. His football journey was later overshadowed by his service to the country, as he was one of many league players to enlist for World War I, serving with the 59th Battalion.
