Bio
Recruited from the local Fitzroy Church of Christ side, Clarrie Featherston entered the VFL ranks as a mature-age recruit, making his debut at 25 years of age near the conclusion of the First World War. Standing 182cm, he was considered a tall option for the era and operated as a utility capable of providing a contest in the air and drifting forward when required. Although he managed to break into the senior lineup for 14 games across two seasons, Featherston faced difficulty cementing a permanent spot in a competitive Maroons squad. His brief career at Brunswick Street ended after the 1919 season, leaving him as a role player during the club's immediate post-war campaigns.
