Stats
Bio
Recruited from Prahran in the VFA, where he had established himself as a prolific goal-kicking rover with over a hundred majors to his name, Clarrie Jordon arrived at Punt Road during one of the club's most successful eras. Standing just 173cm, he was a nippy small forward and resting rover who fought for opportunities in a star-studded lineup that claimed the 1934 premiership, though the depth of the squad meant he missed selection for the Grand Final side. After managing 15 senior appearances over three seasons, he later served in the RAAF during World War II. While his own on-field tenure was brief, his legacy at Tigerland was cemented by his son, Ray "Slug" Jordon, who became a cult figure at the club as a legendary coach of the Under-19s and reserves.
