Bio
Recruited from Port Melbourne in the VFA, Clem Fisher was a versatile follower and half-back who made a brief but eventful impact in the VFL during the early 1930s. He initially broke into the senior side at South Melbourne, playing 14 games across two seasons before finding himself at the centre of a mid-season transfer tussle in 1932. Although his former VFA club attempted to lure him back, Fisher had already signed a clearance form to join St Kilda, where he played out the remainder of the year. While his own senior career concluded after that season—spending 1933 in the reserves, including a Grand Final appearance—his family's association with the Saints continued through his younger brother, Ron Fisher, who became a regular ruckman for the club shortly after Clem's departure.
