Stats
Bio
Recruited from Norwood with pick 24 in the 2005 National Draft, Cleve Hughes was a key forward prospect who spent four seasons on Richmond's list. A traditional lead-up forward with strong hands and a capable set shot, he is best remembered for a singular breakout performance against Port Adelaide in Round 13, 2008, where he booted six goals. Despite this glimpse of significant potential, Hughes struggled to find the consistency or defensive pressure required to cement a permanent spot in the Tigers' forward structure. He managed just 16 senior games before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2009 season, subsequently continuing his football journey in the VFL and WAFL.
