Bio
A product of the local Parkside club in the Footscray District League, Col Bendelle was a small-statured utility who earned a brief opportunity at the top level with the Bulldogs in 1963. He broke into the senior side late in the season, making his debut just weeks after his 19th birthday in a Round 15 clash against Richmond. Bendelle managed three appearances under captain-coach Ted Whitten during a year where the club finished just outside the finals, but he was unable to cement a permanent spot in the lineup and did not feature at VFL level again.
