Bio
Recruited from Glenorchy in the Tasmanian Football League, Colin Cruse arrived at the Junction Oval ahead of the 1973 VFL season. Operating primarily as a rover, he broke into the senior side early in his debut year but found it difficult to cement a permanent position in the Lions' midfield rotation. Cruse managed 15 senior appearances across two seasons, often finding himself on the fringe of selection, before his brief VFL career came to a close at the end of the 1974 campaign.
