Bio
Recruited from Moe in the Latrobe Valley, Colin Morse was a utility player who struggled to establish a permanent foothold at Victoria Park during the mid-1970s. He arrived at Collingwood as a promising teenager and made his debut against Hawthorn in Round 8, 1973, primarily operating as a ruck-rover or half-back flanker. Morse managed just four senior appearances across the 1973 and 1974 seasons, finding it difficult to break into a Magpies lineup that was consistently contending for finals under coach Neil Mann. Unable to cement his spot in the senior side, he eventually departed the VFL without recording a goal.
