Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Thornbury CYMS, Cornelius "Con" Bahen was a handy forward who flashed potential at the Junction Oval during the late 1920s. He demonstrated a sharp eye for the big sticks, maintaining an average of better than a goal a game across his brief tenure at the top level. Despite this scoring ability, Bahen struggled to command a permanent spot in the seniors, playing a cluster of games in 1927 before spending the entire 1928 season out of the side. He earned a recall for a final stint in 1929 but was unable to entrench himself in the Saints' lineup, finishing his VFL career with a fleeting but efficient record in front of goal.
