Bio
Connor Rozee arrived at Alberton via the 2018 National Draft as the centrepiece of Port Adelaide's aggressive list regeneration strategy, selected with pick 5 after the club traded established star Chad Wingard to secure high draft capital. A product of North Adelaide, he made an immediate impact as a high-pressure forward, topping the club's goalkicking in his debut season with his electric pace and cleanliness at ground level. While he navigated some inconsistency and physical development phases in his second and third years, a permanent shift into the midfield engine room unlocked his full potential, allowing him to utilise his burst speed and elite foot skills to damage opposition teams from stoppage.
By the time he reached the 150-game milestone, Rozee had solidified his status as one of the competition's premier ball-winners. His rapid ascent was highlighted by multiple All-Australian selections and a John Cahill Medal, accolades that reflected his ability to balance contested possession with classy outside run and scoreboard impact. His standing within the club was formally recognised when he was appointed captain ahead of the 2024 season, taking the reins at a young age to become the face of the Power's leadership group during a critical premiership window.
