Bio
Recruited from Glenelg with pick 47 in the 2014 National Draft, Cory Gregson made an immediate impact at Geelong as a high-pressure small forward. He enjoyed a standout debut season in 2015, playing 20 games and earning a Rising Star nomination for his tackling intensity and ability to lock the ball inside 50. However, the South Australian's promising career was derailed by a chronic navicular stress fracture in his foot, which restricted him to just two games in 2016 and saw him miss the entire 2017 season. Despite managing a brief return to the senior side in 2018, Gregson struggled to regain continuity due to the persistent injury and was delisted by the Cats at the end of that year, leaving him on 39 AFL games before he returned to the SANFL.
