Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick 17 in the 2001 Rookie Draft, Craig Ednie was a diminutive rover and small forward who relied on sharp reflexes and pace to compensate for his 168cm frame. After impressive form in the VFL, he was elevated to the senior list and made his debut against Geelong in Round 13 of the 2002 season. Ednie played six consecutive matches, showing glimpses of his potential as a crumbing option inside 50, but was unable to secure a long-term position in the Tigers' midfield rotation under Danny Frawley. Delisted at the conclusion of his second season, he returned to the Ovens & Murray Football League where he became a standout performer and premiership player for Yarrawonga.
