Bio
Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 12 in the 1998 National Draft, Craig Jacotine was a defender who showed early glimpses of talent across the half-back line. He made his debut in 1999 and played the majority of his career matches during that first season under Tony Shaw, appearing reasonably comfortable at the senior level. However, the club underwent significant cultural change with the appointment of Mick Malthouse for the 2000 season, and Jacotine struggled to command a regular spot in the new coach's defensive setup. After adding just four games to his tally in his second year, he was delisted at the end of 2000, ending his time at Victoria Park as a first-round draftee who ultimately did not reach his projected potential at AFL level.
