Stats
Bio
Recruited from Minyip in the Wimmera region, Cyril Suares was a diminutive utility who briefly broke into the Collingwood lineup during the 1913 season. Standing just 170cm and weighing a slight 68kg, he was a light-framed wingman and forward who relied on agility rather than physical presence. He made his senior debut in a Round 6 victory over University and managed three further appearances, including a late-season run in Round 18 against South Melbourne. However, unable to cement a permanent spot in a strong Magpies outfit that finished second on the ladder that year, Suares's VFL career concluded after just four matches without registering a goal.
