Bio
Recruited from the North Ballarat Rebels with pick 17 in the 2014 Rookie Draft, Dallas Willsmore was a tall wingman renowned for his penetrating left boot and outside run. Hailing from the Mallee region, he faced the unenviable task of trying to break into Hawthorn's premiership-winning midfield rotation during the club's dominant 'three-peat' era. Consequently, Willsmore served a lengthy apprenticeship with Box Hill in the VFL before finally earning a senior debut in Round 9, 2017 against Sydney. Although he offered a point of difference with his height and kicking skills, he was unable to cement a permanent spot in Alastair Clarkson's side, managing just two senior appearances before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2018 season.
