Bio
Plucked from the Victorian amateur ranks with Old Paradians, Damian Angove was a depth recruit for the Sydney Swans during the club's difficult rebuilding phase in the early 1990s. He broke into the senior side late in the 1992 season, playing four games as a utility for a team that was struggling near the foot of the ladder. While his AFL stint was brief and did not result in a long-term contract, Angove found greater continuity after crossing to the SANFL, where he became a serviceable contributor for the Port Adelaide Magpies over four seasons before eventually moving into coaching at the amateur level.
