Stats
Bio
Recruited from North Adelaide to join Port Adelaide's inaugural AFL list, Damian Squire was a prolific state-league rover who found opportunities limited at the elite level. The diminutive midfielder made five appearances and booted four goals during the Power's debut 1997 season, but he struggled to secure a permanent spot in a midfield brigade that was rapidly developing its premiership DNA. Delisted after just one season, Squire returned to the SANFL where he famously claimed back-to-back Magarey Medals in 1999 and 2000, cementing his status as a local legend whose footballing output far exceeded his brief stint in the AFL.
