Selected by the Western Bulldogs with pick 38 in the 2004 National Draft, Damien McCormack was a midfielder from the Dandenong Stingrays known for his pace and defensive accountability. He struggled to break into the senior side under Rodney Eade, hampered significantly by persistent hamstring injuries that limited his continuity at VFL affiliate Werribee. McCormack managed just four senior appearances across three seasons at the Whitten Oval before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2007 season.
