Bio
Recruited from East Perth with pick 14 in the 2019 Rookie Draft, Damon Greaves was a composed defender known for his ambidextrous kicking skills and ability to generate drive from the half-back line. He broke through for his debut with Hawthorn during the disrupted 2020 season, impressing initially with his intercepting and decision-making, but found it difficult to secure a permanent position in the senior side across three years at Waverley. After ten games in the brown and gold, he returned to his home state in 2022 where he was listed by West Coast, although he did not add to his AFL games tally during his stint with the Eagles. Following his football career, Greaves leveraged his powerful boot to make a successful code switch, moving to the United States to play as a punter in college football.
