Bio
Daniel Robinson was a graduate of the Sydney Swans' NSW scholarship program, joining the club's rookie list from the local Mosman Swans. A versatile midfielder and half-forward with strong overhead marking ability, he was a prolific ball-winner in the NEAFL but faced a stop-start AFL career plagued by misfortune. Robinson looked poised to cement a spot after his 2015 debut, but his momentum was repeatedly stalled by severe injuries, including a shoulder reconstruction in 2016 and a broken collarbone followed by a fractured jaw in 2017. Although he requested a trade in search of more consistent game time, he remained in Sydney for a final season in 2018, adding nine games to his tally before being delisted.
