Teams

Originally rookie-listed by the Western Bulldogs before finding a second chance at St Kilda via the 2000 Rookie Draft, Daniel Wulf was a pacy small forward and utility who struggled to establish a permanent place in a developing Saints lineup. After earning elevation to the senior list, he showed glimpses of potential as a running link player, though his disposal often lacked polish at the elite level. His career is widely remembered for a singular, unfortunate moment in Round 5, 2002 against the Sydney Swans, where he played on from a mark in the goal square during the dying seconds and collided with the post, resulting in a draw rather than a match-winning goal. Despite managing 30 senior appearances over four seasons during the early Grant Thomas era, Wulf was unable to survive the club's list turnover as St Kilda moved toward contention and was delisted at the conclusion of the 2004 season.
