Bio
Recruited from the Geelong Falcons with pick 16 in the 2013 National Draft, Darcy Lang established himself early in his career as a hardworking half-forward with the capacity to rotate through the midfield. While he produced moments of quality at Geelong, including appearances in finals campaigns, he found it difficult to lock down a consistent role within the Cats' deep roster. Seeking more regular senior opportunities, Lang moved to Carlton during the 2017 trade period, but his time at Ikon Park was ultimately frustrated by a series of ankle and degenerative foot injuries. He struggled to recapture his best form in navy blue and was eventually delisted at the end of the 2020 season.
