Bio
Recruited from the Castlemaine Football Club, Darrell Wilkins was a diminutive rover who made a brief appearance for St Kilda during the 1936 season. Standing just 170cm, he was a lightly built small man who joined a Saints outfit struggling near the bottom of the ladder. He managed to break into the senior lineup for two matches as the club searched for options to revitalize their list, but he was unable to secure a permanent spot in the starting XVIII. Following his short VFL stint, Wilkins returned to country football where he remained a notable figure in the Castlemaine district before passing away at the age of 48.
