Stats
Bio
A rugged product of the North Melbourne Under-19s and local Kensington roots, Darren Tarczon was a solid utility who built a reputation on raw physical presence. After failing to break into the Kangaroos' senior lineup during his initial stint, he found a lifeline at Carlton via the 1991 Pre-Season Draft. Tarczon played his entire 11-game senior career with the Blues, where he utilised his imposing 91kg frame to impact contests, notably making headlines for a heavy shirtfront on West Coast's Guy McKenna. He eventually returned to Arden Street through the 1993 Pre-Season Draft but did not add to his senior game tally, finishing his time at the elite level as a depth player known more for his toughness than his longevity.
