Bio
Selected with pick 49 in the 1995 National Draft, David Cockatoo-Collins arrived at Melbourne as the younger brother of fellow AFL players Che and Donald, joining the latter at the Demons. Recruited from the Port Adelaide Magpies, the Indigenous small forward made his debut in the opening round of the 1996 season and played his only two senior games alongside Donald. While he possessed the natural talent characteristic of his family, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior lineup and spent the remainder of his three-year tenure playing in the reserves before being delisted at the end of 1998.
