Bio
Arriving at Fitzroy via the 1989 Pre-season Draft after cutting his teeth in the Essendon reserves, Dean Lupson was a competitive mid-sized utility who added depth to the Lions' list during a turbulent era. Although his senior career was limited to six games across two seasons, he cemented his place in club folklore as a member of the 1989 reserves premiership team, helping secure a rare piece of silverware for the struggling club. Lupson later transitioned into a successful coaching career in regional Victoria, notably guiding Sunbury to a hat-trick of premierships in the Ballarat Football League in the late 1990s.
