Stats
Bio
A local product recruited from the Fitzroy Districts, Dick Noble was a mid-sized utility who earned a brief opportunity with the Maroons during their competitive 1937 campaign. Standing 178cm, he broke into the senior lineup mid-season, making his debut in a hard-fought loss to Carlton at Princes Park. Noble managed to hold his spot for a month of football, playing four consecutive matches as Fitzroy solidified their place in the top four, though he did not hit the scoreboard during his stint. His time at the top level was ultimately short-lived, serving as a depth player who filled a role for his local club before squeezing out of the side as they marched toward a Preliminary Final appearance.
