Bio
Recruited from the Victorian Junior Football Association (VJFA) side Fortrose, Dick Price was a follower who earned his opportunity with Richmond during the 1912 season. Standing 175cm, he broke into the senior side in Round 5 against Collingwood at Victoria Park, featuring in a squad that was struggling to find consistency that year. Price retained his place for a handful of matches, making five appearances in total without registering a goal. His VFL career was confined to that single winter, typifying the experience of many junior recruits of the era who were given a brief trial at the top level before departing the scene.
