Bio
Recruited from the Baulkham Hills Falcons, Dion Myles was a local New South Wales product who joined the Swans during their mid-1990s resurgence. A 188cm utility capable of playing at either end of the ground, he debuted under Ron Barassi in 1995 but struggled to secure a permanent place in a rapidly strengthening side. He remained on the fringe of the squad during the club's 1996 Grand Final campaign, often stuck behind established key position players in the pecking order. After being delisted with eight games to his name, Myles moved to South Australia and carved out a successful career in the SANFL with West Adelaide, where he won the club's best and fairest award in 2000.
