Bio
Recruited from the St George Crows with pick 27 in the 2005 National Draft, Dylan Addison developed a reputation at the Western Bulldogs as a courageous and versatile utility. Primarily deployed as a defensive forward or across half-back, he was renowned for his desperate attack on the football and tackling pressure rather than high possession counts. He featured regularly during the club's preliminary final years under Rodney Eade, though he often found himself fighting to retain his spot in the best 22 and was eventually delisted by the Bulldogs following the 2013 season. Greater Western Sydney offered him a lifeline as a delisted free agent, seeking experienced bodies to support their developing list, but Addison managed only five senior appearances for the Giants before his AFL career concluded at the end of 2015.
