Bio
Recruited from Alphington, Eddie Thomas broke into the Collingwood ranks during the 1911 season. He joined a Magpies squad that was arguably the strongest in the league, claiming the minor premiership that year, which made holding a spot in the senior lineup a formidable challenge. Thomas managed seven appearances throughout the home-and-away season, contributing a single goal, but he struggled to displace the club's established stars permanently. Consequently, he was overlooked for the finals campaign and his league career concluded after just one season at Victoria Park.
