Bio
Recruited from the goldfields region, Edgar Stubbs was a mid-season arrival who briefly bolstered Geelong's forward line during the 1906 VFL season. Arriving from Ballarat Imperial after earlier football with Beaufort, he was granted a clearance in July and immediately slotted into the senior side to debut against Essendon. He managed to boot three goals across his five appearances, offering a target inside 50 during a competitive era. His time at Corio Oval was short-lived, however, and following a heavy defeat to South Melbourne in his final match, he departed the league to continue his career with Golden Point in the Ballarat Football Association the following year.
