Bio
A local product who emerged from the Geelong College football program, Edmund Webber was recruited to the Pivotonians from Chilwell. Standing 180cm, he was a tall prospect for the era and broke into the senior lineup as an 18-year-old in 1912. Webber showed ability in attack, booting three goals in his limited opportunities, but struggled to cement a permanent spot in the starting 18 during a period of fluctuation for the club. His VFL career was brief, restricted to just six games across two seasons before concluding at the end of 1913, on the eve of the Great War. He remained in the region for the rest of his life, passing away in Geelong in 1966.
