Bio
A towering figure for his era, Enos Thomas stood 191cm and was a mature-age recruit who finally broke into the VFL ranks at 29 years of age. Originally from Ringwood, his exceptional height made him a natural option for ruck duties and key position contests. He debuted for Melbourne in the opening round of the 1921 season, booting a goal in his first outing, but struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior side. In search of greater opportunity, Thomas crossed to Essendon for the 1922 season, yet added only one final game to his tally before his brief League career concluded.
