Stats
Bio
Recruited from local side Malvern Amateurs, Eric Moore was a diminutive forward and rover who served as a depth player for Fitzroy in the years immediately following World War II. Standing just 175cm and weighing a slight 68kg, Moore relied on agility and crumbing instincts rather than physical presence, proving to be an opportunistic avenue to goal when selecting in the senior side. Despite a respectable strike rate of 14 goals from his limited opportunities, he struggled to cement a permanent spot in a competitive lineup that was consistently pushing for finals contention. He spent three seasons at Brunswick Street, largely operating on the fringe of the best 18, before his VFL career concluded at the end of the 1950 season.
