Stats
Bio
Recruited from Seaford in the Mornington Peninsula Football League, Eric White was a towering physical presence who arrived at the Lakeside Oval in 1963. Standing at 193cm—exceptionally tall for the era—White was utilised primarily as a ruckman who could drift forward to provide a marked contest inside 50. He joined South Melbourne during a challenging period for the club, serving as a supporting big man in a team heavily reliant on the brilliance of Bob Skilton. Despite his impressive frame and raw potential, White found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the senior side, managing 21 appearances over three seasons before his VFL career came to a close in 1965.
