Bio
Recruited from North Melbourne in the VFA, Ernie McMaster joined Melbourne during the club's difficult 1910 campaign. Standing 173cm, he was brought into the senior lineup for the Round 7 clash against Carlton as the Redlegs looked to revitalise a struggling list. McMaster held his spot for the following week's match against Essendon, but after the team suffered heavy defeats in both fixtures without him troubling the scorers, he was omitted from the side. His VFL career concluded after just those two appearances, leaving the club as it narrowly avoided the wooden spoon.
