Stats
Bio
Recruited from Balwyn United Churches, Frank Booth was a medium-sized forward who earned his VFL debut with Collingwood in the opening round of the 1938 season. He managed six senior appearances that year but struggled to cement a permanent spot in a powerful Magpies lineup that went on to contest the Grand Final. Seeking greater opportunities, Booth transferred to Hawthorn for the 1939 season, but he found regular selection just as difficult at Glenferrie Oval. He added three games and two goals to his career tally in brown and gold before his time in the league concluded at the end of the year.
