Stats
Bio
Recruited from Noble Park during the tumultuous Second World War era, Frank Deayton was a tall utility who helped fill the void left by Melbourne regulars serving overseas. Standing at 188cm, he was capable of holding down a key defensive post or pinch-hitting in the ruck, offering valuable versatility to a depleted Demons lineup across the 1942 and 1943 seasons. His VFL career was brief, ending after just 17 games as wartime restrictions and player movements reshaped the league, but he later re-emerged as a standout follower and key position player for Oakleigh in the VFA during the late 1940s.
