Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Kensington Socials, Frank Galle was a powerfully built big man who added significant size to the North Melbourne lineup in the late 1950s. Standing 187cm and weighing over 90kg, he possessed a physically imposing frame that allowed him to hold his own in heavy contests against the era's robust key position players. He broke into the senior side in 1958, managing 19 appearances over three seasons as he battled to cement a permanent spot in the starting 18. Though his VFL tenure wrapped up at the conclusion of the 1960 season, he remains recorded in club history as Shinboner number 499.
