Bio
Recruited from the Prahran Try Boys, Frank Kight was a skilled wingman and rover who faced the difficult task of breaking into a formidable Richmond side during the late 1920s. He established himself as a standout performer in the seconds, winning the Reserves Best and Fairest in 1926, but the quality of the Tigers' senior list restricted him to just three senior appearances. Kight followed a similar trajectory to his brother Arthur, who also spent years on the club's list for just a solitary senior game, eventually realising his path to regular football lay elsewhere. He transferred to the VFA and became a stalwart for Coburg, playing over 140 games for the Lions where his fine disposal skills and creativity were fully utilised.
