Bio
Recruited from Rochester in the Goulburn Valley, Frank Munro was a key defender who split his brief VFL career between two traditional rivals. He initially broke into the Carlton side in 1954, primarily operating as a full-back where he was tasked with manning the opposition's deepest forwards. After struggling to cement a permanent spot in the Blues' lineup over three seasons, Munro secured a clearance to Richmond midway through the 1956 season. He added 13 games to his tally at Punt Road, filling gaps in the Tigers' backline for the remainder of that year and the 1957 season before concluding his tenure at league level.
